Introductions: My name is Laurence Jones but a lot of my oldest friends call me Loz.

I’m English but have lived in Ireland for more than thirty years.

I have a degree in Fine Art, a post graduate diploma in Adult Education and now a diploma in Genealogy and a masters in Local History.

I also have health issues which mean I have had to give up teaching and have returned to painting while writing bits and pieces for journals… and there’s a book on the way.
